Rural Indiana residents seeking free and confidential support while managing stress, depression or anxiety, or resources for food, clothing, housing, and healthcare have access to telehealth wellbeing services in six rural Indiana counties.
Description of the video:
Hi, and welcome to youbecause you matter. Did you know three out of four rural counties in Indiana list mental health services as a top need. Unfortunately, in
rural Indiana, there are very
few providers that are available
to help. We're working to change this width because
you matter. A new service launched by the IU School
of Social Work, the Center for
Rural engagement, supported by a grant through the state
of Indiana. We work with rural
libraries to provide free confidential
social work services to
people like you. Are social work
student practitioners can connect you with food, clothing, shelter, and
health care resources. They can also provide you with help for
motivation and stress management and
can provide support to you if you are dealing with anxiety
or depression. We look forward
to working with you because you matter.
