Congratulations on your admission to the IU School of Social Work! Follow these five steps to prepare for your first semester. Complete each step as early as possible. Be sure to follow the information for your campus or online program.
Create an account
- Look up your university ID
If you’re wondering whether you already have an account, look up your university ID. If you previously created an account with any IU campus, you don’t need to create a new one.

- Schedule a Registration Planning Session
You will either add your classes to the shopping cart or register for classes directly depending on if registration is open. We will answer any questions and ensure you start on the right path.Complete the planning session form as soon as possible.
- Register for classes
Use the Stellic for class search, shopping cart, adding, dropping, and swapping classes to adjust your schedule during the self-service period. You can view your grades, unofficial transcript, class schedule, class permissions, financial aid, registration restrictions, and your enrollment date/time.
For the online program select SWK-D at Indianapolis. Locations at IU Southeast, Fort Wayne, and Lafayette use Indianapolis and look under class notes for your location.

Indiana state law requires all Indianapolis and Bloomington students to have current immunizations.
